Maya, a wonderful Russian ballerina, is followed by the Russian mafia after they kill her spouse, a successful American businessman, and financial records worth hundreds of millions of dollars go losing. Maya is framed by corrupt police and locked up, and then when she is due to be released, her little girl is kidnapped, and she must battle to save her life. However, those who seem to be her buddies may really be her enemies…
I first saw lead actress in Sofya Skya representing Ligeia in movie The Tomb, not a great movie, but her expression of the tragic personality is artistic, she extends with beauty and grace. Fast on to 2013, Sofya shows Maya, ballerina wife of business Michael, represented with smarmy seediness by Christan Slater. Although American, Michael, unknowingly to him, is connected in the Russian Mafia, as the companies he operates have connections to the mob.
